The McCann family and the Bennett family merged when Mildred Bennett married Edgar McCann.  Mildred moved to California with her pa, and some of the McCann's came too.  Since then most of the Bennett siblings settled in the central valley of California from Bakersfield in the south to Lincoln to the north, and places in between.
